Frequently Asked Questions

What is a ‘Pre-Wedding Coordination Day’?

After confirmation of our services, we will work closely with you to outline all of the tasks you would like us to take on up until Wedding day.

All of our Pre-Wedding Coordination days are based on an 8 hour timeframe (as per usual office hours), however, these will used on an ad-hoc basis across the period of time we are working together.

We use an online time tracker which we will share with you as soon as you start working with us. It also outlines exactly what we have been working on throughout the process, keeping things nice and transparent.

We will also have frequent check-ins to ensure everything is running to schedule and you are happy.

What is involved with the ‘Pre-Wedding Consultation’?

Our ‘Pre-Wedding Consultations’ have been put in place to ensure we have all the necessary information and detail as to how you would like your Wedding day to run.

During this time we will go over your running order, suppliers and their details and general nitty gritty of the day.

We will discuss things such as how you would like your day to flow, for example, would you like us to stick to strict timings? Or are you happy for things to be flexible? (We tend to suggest if things are starting to fall between 30-45 minutes behind schedule, we will make suggestions as to how we can subtly pull back some time to ensure no suppliers are impacted.)

We will organise your pre-wedding consultation as a virtual meeting between 1 month and 2 weeks prior to your Wedding date. We arrange it within this timeframe as by this time we expect most things to be in place and confirmed in terms of your suppliers and general running of the day. We expect this meeting to last between 1 and 2 hours.

After our meeting, we will then bulk out your running order with everything we have discussed and share with all suppliers in a nicely presented document.

We also build in some time for a post-wedding wrap up and can assist with tying up any loose ends with your suppliers after your big day.

How long will you be with us on our Wedding day?

We base our ‘On-The-Day Coordination’ packages on a 12 hour day, (please bear this in mind when we discuss the plan for the day and your running order.)

You can of course purchase additional hours should you wish, particularly if you have suppliers coming along later in the day, but we feel that once everything is up and running, the hard work is complete and the party is in full swing, our couples should be left to enjoy their last few hours of celebrations with their loved ones.

What tasks will you do for us?

This is where we like to take your lead, of course we will advise you on the important things that need doing and ensure you have considered absolutely everything to guarantee no disasters happen! (*Ahem*Rain contingency plan? Licensing in place? Do you have enough staff on hand to actually deliver that dream wedding?)

Whether you want us to get involved in the jobs that you know nothing about - we’re talking toilets, power and production - or want us to do everything from start to finish …Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Think of us as the Fairy Godmothers of the Wedding Industry.

To kick things off, we will always arrange an initial catch up with you to discuss your plans and ideas (this is usually a virtual meeting), then we will help advise where we can best get stuck in.

How will we know you’re the right match?

We pride ourselves on our friendly yet professional approach however, we know that choosing a Wedding Planner is a very personal decision.

You will spend a lot of time talking to your Wedding Planner and will essentially become an important part of each others' lives for a few months - so it is crucial you get on with them well. We always want to meet (either in person or virtually) our clients before they make a decision to work with us, so why not book an introductory call and see if we're your perfect match?

Which package should I choose?

If you're unsure what you need, we would recommend booking a no-obligation introductory call with one of our Wedding Planners. They can see what you have already done and what you need some assistance with, and advise on which package is most suitable for you.
Alternatively, our Packages page gives examples of which package may be best suited to you as a couple.

Do I really need a Wedding Planner or Coordinator?

Whether you're keen to do it all yourself or have no idea where to start, we think the most important thing is that you have the opportunity to enjoy your wedding day - rather than running around after your guests, chasing the caterers and getting the band on stage on time.
This is why we always recommend booking an on-the-day coordinator, even if you want to do the rest yourself.

Your website says you’re based in the South West, how far will you travel?

The true answer to this, is how far will you take us? We often travel for Weddings and Events and love to work in new places, so just ask!
However, please be aware that this may incur additional travel and accommodation expenses.

Will you take over the Wedding planning process?

We will take the reins on the planning, but we will not takeover. This day is your dream - we are just here to bring it to life.
Part of what we do is get the ball rolling, guide you and keep you on track with your progress.
No decision will be made without your go-ahead and you will be included in every single aspect.

Do you charge mark ups when booking in suppliers?

Nope, we understand the importance of sticking to a budget when it comes to weddings and that’s why we pride ourselves on our transparent pricing structure. We will always work ‘open book’ meaning what you see is what you get.

We do have the advantage of being able to supply mobile bar and production services, which many of our couples love to take advantage of due to simplicity. And because of this, we can also offer extremely competitive pricing and bundle discounts.
